Changing the content of the bible? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

God's Word is infallible and unmistakeable.  2 Timothy writes it is for "reproof and correction". Revelation 21 adds that we shall not "add to" or "take away".  Why?  It states that if we add to the words of this prophecy, He will add to plagues in the book; if we take away from the prophecy, then He will take away our part in the Lamb's Book of Life.  No book that has any errors can't be used for reproof or correction.  If that is the case, then we as flawed human beings would have the right to pass judgement on one another and we don't.

The Bible is race-neutral, and gender-neutral.  There is no need to change the Bible.  If one thinks that the Bible needs some fine tuning, then maybe it is their heart and their thinking that needs some fine tuning.  For centuries, people have misinterpreted the Bible to suit their own selfish purposes.  For example, religion has used to divide countries, enslave and conquer peoples, and to justify hypocrisy of various kinds.  It is people who need changing not the Word of God.  If anyone thinks that God's Word needs changing, then they probably think that God needs changing Himself.

God is not a he or a she.  There is no Heavenly Parent or a Heavenly Mother.  There is no Goddess in the Bible.  God is not a She, nor is He a man. God is a Spirit.  Our Heavenly Father is not sexist, nor does he condone sexism.  He is equal opportunity; He will judge us, male and female, by equal standards.  Jew or Greek, we are all one before God.  God calls us all to do His will.  Jesus Christ died for us all.  The Holy Spirit convicts males and females of our sins.  He convicts blacks, whites, Jews, and other races, colors, creeds, and cultures of our sins.  God is love.  He loves us all and He expects us to love.

God is also a God of justice. All of us will have to answer for how we lived our lives on this planet.  There are only one of two places we will end up for all eternity: Heaven or Hell.  The Bible does not need changing, but we do.  If you have never accepted Jesus Christ, or if you need to rededicated your life to Christ, I ask that you pray this prayer:
"Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner in need of a Savior.  Forgive me of all my sins.  .  I accept you know as Lord and Savior.  Write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life.  I thank You for saving me, in Your name Jesus, Amen."
