Yes, You Must be Born Again

John 3:3-8
3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?”

5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Listen  up world, you must be born again.  We live in a world full of sin.   Psalm 14 says that God could not find no one good on the earth, not one.  Why?  Because people did not believe in Him.  They were foolish.

Romans  1 writes about people who have changed the truth of God into a lie.   They did not like to retain God in their minds and God gave them up to a reprobate mind.  They were corrupt people and felt that they were justified in living their lives as they see fit.  Especially true if they feel that they are not hurting anyone, but the truth is, they are.  They are hurting themselves.  They are not living in the Spirit.  They are living in the flesh. 

They are not born again. They are not the blood brought born again Christians that God wants us to be.  Being  born again is being born of water and Spirit.  Just believing is not enough, for even demons believe. (James 2:19)  It is about repentance, changing course toward the narrow road of life.  Sadly few will find it.  (Matthew 7:14)  Most will reject the truth.  They will never know what  it is like to be a persistent, true born-again believer in Christ.   Those who endure shall also be saved.  (Matthew 24:13)

This is  especially true in these days and times.  In the latter times, there  won't be a revival.  There will be a falling away from the truth. (2 Tim 2:3)  I will not claim to know when the world will end, but the signs  are all around us.  Read Matthew 24 and Luke 21.  Only God knows when Jesus shall return.  According to Romans 1, many will deny the power of  God. False religion, including legalism shall abound and hurt the church.  It is not the blameless, spotless church that God desires. Churches have compromised the truth, are bound by manmade rules, and are not being watchful or prayerful.  False Christians are deluded and  living like the world.  That is not the born again church.

Being  born again means being a true Christian.  It is about believing that  God is.  (Hebrews 11) It is about knowing and understanding that one  must be born again to be saved, sanctified, holy unto God.  It is about believing in your heart that God raised His Son Jesus Christ from the  dead.  It is about not being shy about calling the name of Jesus.  It is  about not being ashamed of the gospel.  It is about renouncing sin and  becoming "a new creation in Christ" (Ephesians 5).  It is about not loving what the world loves; it is about living, sacrificing, suffering, and loving Jesus Christ with your entire being.  It is about turning your  life over to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Trust me, life will never be the  same.

Being a born-again Christian, you will never be the same.  You will learn and grow in ways people who live for the world will never  understand.  Satan has no power over you, for "greater is He who is in  me that he who is in the world". (1 John 4:4) Those who are born again  are overcomers.  For those who are truly born again, there is no  condemnation according to Romans. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our  sins, righteousness, and judgement.  He is the one who teacher us of all  things.  God is our Creator, Ruler, and Judge, and Jesus is the Son of  God.  He is our Savior, Lord, and King.  They are the Godhead, the  Trinity, three-in-one.

God is the Only One who can save us.  Jesus is way, the truth, and the life... (John 14:1).  There is no other way.  There is no one God but so many religions; there is true Christianity and there are false religions. Krishna cannot save us.   Buddha cannot save.  Neither can Allah save us.  It is no longer a mystery; we must be born again.  We cannot see Him, but He is real.  He  is omnipotent and omniscient. 

Do not worry.  He forgives all  sin, except for blaspheming the Holy Spirit.  Blaspheming the Holy  Spirit entails the outright rejection of God's work in our lives and the  total disrespect of God's authority.  The Holy Spirit according to John 14 does not speak of Himself, but he is our Teacher and our Guide.   Jesus loves us and cares about us.   He is 100% Honest, Pure, and True.  He walked the earth and sacrificed His life for us all.  He is Merciful and Kind, but He is also Judge and Savior.  Born again Christians will have the brightest of all futures,  for ours will be eternal. All we have to do is to receive and then follow Jesus. 

If you confess the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you shall be saved.   (Romans 13:10)  Call on Him.  Jesus forgives.  God is Love (1 John  4:16)  Talk to God.  He does exist.  He hears us.  Today is the day of  salvation.  Life is too short.  Don't wait until it is too late, for  tomorrow may be just that: too late.

"Heavenly  Father, I believe with all my heart that You raised Jesus from the  dead.  I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.  Lord Jesus Christ, I  want to be born again.  I repent of all of my sins.  I want to change  course.  I want to live for you and serve you all of the days of my  life.  I ask that my name be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.  I want  to be a child of God and a Joint-heir with You , Jesus.  I thank you for saving me.  In your name, Jesus, Amen."
